I’ve been using this tobacco for about a year now and found this to be very smooth. The only fault I would mention, if you could call it a fault, is that for a couple of my orders the tobacco has seemed very greasy and hasn’t drawn well at all when being smoked. I can only imagine that it was a new delivery and hadn’t had time to dry out as much as usual. Having said that the tobacco is never dry and ordinarily rolls and draws very well.

Thanks for taking the time to give feedback on our AK Gold. As with all our loose tobacco, the moisture level varies and a new batch will contain more moisture. We suggest that you let the tobacco dry out a bit before smoking it and that should sort it out.

Nice one. First tried the menthol version while it was legal and then changed to this. I like the smell as I open the pack and it keeps well, which is important to me as I don’t smoke a lot, though as mentioned elsewhere you may need to actually let it dry a little before use so it draws well. I’m well stocked now in case the government use the present situation as an excuse to do some other loony thing.

This tobacco is clean smooth and very mild. After smoking amber leaf blonde I was looking for a same level of smoke and ak gold delivers just that but without the chemical harshness. Perfect hand rolling tobacco.

Perfect for switching from menthol cigarettes. We use them with Sharrow menthol filter tips. I’ve tried so many options since the ban. This is by far the best. Smoother & more satisfying than any menthol cigarettes I tried back in the day. To make it extra tasty we often use the Cherry & Vanilla Tobacco Spray, & Juicy Jay’s Very Cherry papers, all from Johnnys.

Purchased this after 11 years as a non smoker..had previously smoked for 25 years, and then quit. I am again smoking rollies, and it is good quality – insofar as smoking is ‘good.’ for you :-s. Alas PTSD and accumulated horrors, drove me back to smoking, and not caring a shit anymore about myself or anyone else. The vendor sadly caught an edge of the cyclone of my demise, when I abused them by email for not sending me a lighter. They had already included free papers and filters for me. I am truely sorry, that anyone else was swept into matters that are mine alone..and ordinarily am genteel and easygoing. Anyways. I have started using again. Naturally the taste and smell after 11 years was toxic and rotten – but that ‘high’ from the first roll up, which gives that buzz, far surpasses the 18mg restricted tobacco liquids on the e-cig. Plus it is good quality tobacco..better than Amber or GV as I recall.
Long story short. IF you are going to buy and smoke tobacco, then this is probably one of the best products which is bad for your health to opt for.
