Calabash with Silver Capping Meerschaum Pipe – Small
A beautiful example of a meerschaum lined, wooden calabash pipe, featuring a hand-turned stem and genuine silver capping both on the shank and stem.

Made famous by Sherlock Holmes, the calabash is a timeless shape that looks great in any hand!

The pipe is presented in a bespoke, velvet-lined, hard case with a metal clasp closure.

Found only in Turkey and some parts of Northern Africa, meerschaum is a highly sought after material in pipe making, popular for its porous qualities.

As the pipe is smoked, over time the bowl will darken in colour from a snowy white to shades of caramel and dark mahogany browns.
