Derived from the term ‘Claro’ meaning ‘light coloured’ in Spanish, the name perfectly captures the essence of Charatan’s mildest blend.

The Charatan story began in 1863 when Frederick Charatan opened a tobacconist in Mansell Street, London and over 150 years later they are still going strong and continue to tailor their cigars to the tastes of the discerning British aficionado.
