Pine Cone Meerschaum Pipe – Large
This elegant, meerschaum pipe was handmade in Turkey and features an intricately carved, pine cone pattern around and under the bowl with extra detail around the rim.

The shank is left smooth and is fitted with a beautiful, marbled stem in reddish hues with a fishtail mouthpiece.

Presented in a bespoke, hard case that’s made to measure, lined with soft velvet and fitted with a metal clasp fastener to keep this beauty safe from harm when it is not in use.

Found only in Turkey and some parts of Northern Africa, meerschaum is a highly sought after material in pipe making, popular for its porous qualities and cool, dry smoking characteristics.

As the pipe is smoked, over time it will darken in colour from a snowy white to shades of light caramel, reddish and dark mahogany browns making each one totally unique as it ages.

PLEASE NOTE: Meerschaum is quite fragile and definitely won’t take a beating like a briar pipe! Take care when taking apart your meerschaum pipe for cleaning – never attempt to clean while the pipe is still warm – and take care not to bang the bowl on a hard surface when emptying.
